Tahini and Soy Sauce Noodle Soup

Another recipe by using tahini is available. Yay!

It is winter so of course the weather is super cold in my local. While soup is good, but I wanted to add noodle to make complete meal. With tahini sauce, this is very thick and rich, so it can boost up our energy to survive cold weather. I’d never imagined nutty flavored soup can be that tasty! If you have tahini, this is the one you should try!

Tahini and Soy Sauce Noodle Soup

<Ingredients>

  • ½ pound egg noodle

 Veggie Topping

  • 2 cups of bean sprout
  • 1 cup chives
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil
  • Some salt and pepper
  • some scallion

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon garlic chili paste
  • 1.5 tablespoon chicken soup stock
  • 3 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ tablespoon shredded ginger
  • 6 cups water
  • Some drop of chili oil
  • Some sesame seeds
  • some scallion

<Direction>

  1. Create sauce paste
    Combine tahini, sugar, garlic chili paste, chicken soup stock, soy sauce, vinegar together and set aside.  IMG_9203u.jpg
  2. Make soup
    In a large pot, put sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to infuse the aroma of herbs. Then, pour water and bring it to boil. When it’s boiled, dissolve sauce paste little by little into soup.IMG_9202u.jpg
  3. Cook veggies
    In a large pan, cook bean sprouts and chives with sesame oil. Cook about 3 min and sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste.IMG_9206u.jpg
  4. Cook noodle
    In a large pan, put lots of water and bring it to boil. Add noodle and cook about 1 min.

  5. Set out dish
    In a bowl, put noodle and veggies. Pour sauce and drop some chili oil and sprinkle sesame seeds and scallion. IMG_9207u

 

I with the weather become warmer, but I think I can survive this winter with this noodle soup! 😀
