Savory Ricotta and Veggie Quiche

Hello there, welcome to my new posting!

Do you want some fancy breakfast/brunch this weekend? How about quiche?:D

While omelets, pancakes, french toasts are still one of the best menu for starting nice weekend, quiche can give you one step ahead. Crispy savory crust with fluffy egg and refreshing ricotta cheese coated veggies…mmm, not only tasty but also beautiful and healthy for easily getting nutrition!

Savory Ricotta and Veggie Quiche

<Ingredients>

Quiche Crust

  • 65g unsalted butter – cube cut
  • 160g all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon soy milk
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Some salt

Filling

  • ¼ large onion
  • ½ cup asparagus
  • 5~8 mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 150g ricotta cheese
  • ½ cube soup stock
  • 2 large eggs
  • Some olives
  • some black pepper

<Direction>

  1. Preheat oven 400°F
  2. Create dough
    Mix all ingredients for quiche bottom and knead well.

  3. Create quiche botton
    Spread dough by using rolling pin.

    Place the dough in baking pan and make holes by using fork. Transfer it in oven and bake it for 20min.IMG_9138u.jpg
  4. Cook veggies
    In a large pan, melt butter and cook veggies. Season them with soup stock

  5. Make egg mixture
    Mix beaten egg, ricotta cheese

  6. Create quiche
    On a baked crust, put veggie and pour egg mixture. Place some black olives.
  7. Baking time!
    Bake quiche in oven for about 25min.
