When we’ve decided to move to the new room, I tried to clean up my old kitchen more than just general cleaning routine. At that time, we never knew if we were really moving, but it’s not going to be in vain for cleaning, so I climb up to the top shelf where I never touch(aka the shelves I can never reach.)
And. I found THE MESS.
I never touched there or pour oil on them, but the surface of the top shelves were disgustingly sticky and yellow. Thank god there were no roaches but there’d be roaches all over soon.
How I prevented the nightmare? Here we go!
All you need is:
- Baking soda
- Stainless sponge
- Wiping Clothes
Sprinkle some baking soda and pour vinegar. Wait for about 30 min and scrub surface gently and wipe out all liquid.
Just that. And I got beautiful shelf back as below!
It’s chemical free and the method is so easy!
You don’t want your room to be dirty, right? Just a few minutes of effort can turn your home sparkle.
While it is true that everyone says vinegar and baking soda mixture is powerful to keep your room clean, I was a little doubt for that power because it sounds too easy. But now, I must admit it is like a magical spell for cleaning, and vinegar and baking soda are my must have ingredients for food and cleaning supply!
