Hello all, it’s first day of June! TIME. FLIES!
When I was in LA, there are at least 2 Mexican food restaurant in a block. Spiced meat and a variety of condiments always made me excited, and I had to spend at least 10 minutes to decide which salsa I should choose to boost up the taste of delicious food.
Now, I live in far north and hardly find authentic Mexican food. It sometimes make me sad, but I should think it’s time to start making Mexican food at home!
As long as we challenge making tasty salsa, you’ll be fine because Mexican food, especially quesadilla is easy to make!
Let’s try now! (Here is my 10 cents, but while you cook Mexican food, you should choose mariachi to boost up atmosphere of being in Mexican food restaurant! )
Cheese and Bean Quesadilla
- 2 large flour tortilla
- ¼ can of cuban style bean
- ½ shredded cheese
- Some toppings of your choice: salsa, avocado, jalapeno, sour cream, cilantro
- Pan fry tortilla
In a large pan, put tortilla and place cheese, beans on one side of tortilla and bring it to medium low heat. Cook for about 5 min, then flip over and wait about another 5 min.
- Set out dish
Transfer tortilla to plate and decorate it with toppings.
I always wonder how many slices of jalapeno I should put. Usually I feel they are not spicy at all and make my quesadilla with loaded jalapeno, but once I got super spicy one, I need some break right middle of my precious meal time.
If you agree with me, good luck cooking and choosing good-boy/girl-jalapeno!
Enjoy home cooking and your own creation of homemade food:)
