Chunky Fruits Tea Jelly

I’ve made several jelly this summer, but I’m not tired of them. Summer has lots of fruits in season and while eating them straight from the fridge feels good, let’s work in my kitchen to make them extra yummy! Silky jelly with a variety of chunky fruit…Mmm, bring them right now!

<Today’s Recipe>

Chunky Fruits Tea Jelly

  • 1 bag of berry hibiscus tea
  • 500ml water
  • ½ large peach – chopped
  • 1 hand green grape – peel, if you can.
  • ¼ lime for juice and 2 thin slice
  • 1.5 tablespoon sugar
  • 7g unflavored gelatin

  1. Bring water, tea bag, fruits in a pot and bring it to boil. Reduce heat and brew tea while cooking fruits.
  2. Add sugar and gelatin and stir well to dissolve them.
  3. Remove from heat and let it sit to cool for a while.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a small bowl and set jelly in a fridge, about 1 hour~+

<Cooking Tips>

Don’t be stingy when brewing the berry hibiscus tea. I used only 1 bag with about 1 liter of water, so beautiful red color didn’t appear, haha!! When you brew it right, the color turns to ruby red like this : Product Review: Berry Hibiscus Tea

While it’s still hot outside, enjoy summer vibes without saying good-bye just not yet!

By the way, does anyone know how to peel grape’s skin beautifully? My grapes exploded while in boiling pot and tear apart when I tried to remove skin…mmm, oops!
