Homemade Ginger Ale

Did you know ginger ale can be homemade? I thought those drinks must be bought from a store so when I found out sodas can be made with citric acid and baking soda, ginger ale was the first one I wanted to try! I bought some citric acid beforehand for cleaning purposes, so let’s make it now!

Homemade Ginger Ale

  • Some ginger – sliced
  • Some honey
  • Some water
  • Some ice cubes

Ginger Ale


  • Some seltzer water



  1. Infuse ginger in water by boiling it.
  2. Add honey
  3. Adjust sweet level by adding water.
  4. Add citric acid and baking soda. Or, you can simply adjust tastes by adding seltzer water!

Mmm, pretty refreshing! By thinking about ginger can boost up my immune system, this is the perfect drink!
