Edamame Pasta

There is always edamame when we are drinking, but never the main dish.

When drinking alcohol, especially almost frozen beer on summer days, people prefer to eat edamame a lot, but can you name edamame dishes as the main course of your meal?

I couldn’t until I met this recipe. The cute light green is great to decorate my plate, and earthy nutty flavor is of course yummy to make the whole dish flavorful. Today, I want to introduce an Italian Japanese fusion food to enjoy edamame to bring a smile to you!

<Today’s Recipe>

Edamame Pasta

edamame pasta

  • 140g spaghetti
  • 150g edamame (without shell)
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese – grated
  • 1 cube veg soup stock
  • Some salt and pepper
  • Some garlic powder

  • 40g edamame (without shell)
  • Some parmesan cheese – grated
  • Some black pepper

  1. Fill water in a pan and bring it to boil. Add spaghetti and cook until they are al dente.
  2. While spaghetti is being cooked, combine edamame and almond milk together in a food processor and process until they are smooth.
  3. Transfer them in a small pan and bring it to medium high heat. When the edamame mixture is getting warm, add parmesan cheese, veg soup stock, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Drain spaghetti and transfer them in the edamame sauce pan. Add 40g edamame and toss well.
  5. Transfer the spaghetti into a plate and sprinkle parmesan cheese and black pepper. Enjoy!

I cover food, travel, movies, music and pop culture, but hopefully you get some fun stuff…check out “Dinner And A Movie” stories – you can search for them – I made a dish from a film and then reviewed both!
