“Toasted” Marshmallow

Happy National Toasted Marshmallow Day!

Did you know, today 8/30 is the day for the popular camping treats: toasted marshmallow!

I even didn’t know food holidays for toasted marshmallow exists until a few days ago. For those who grew up enjoying camping, s’more must be a great treat with warm childhood memory.

So here is a question, especially for adults not going camping last 5 years.

Can you remember when was the last time you ate marshmallow?

I don’t remember, but I used to eat them a lot because I heard a rumor that marshmallows make us tall. And I’m sure it’s just a rumor because of the evidence of my height. (I’m 5ft tall when I’m on a good condition🤣 )

And now you are asking me about making and eating s’more beside a bonfire? Well, an introvert neither does a bonfire nor s’more.

But, I’m different today. I saw a golden brown marshmallow picture and my mouth insisted that I get them immediately. So here we are! Easy and quick are what I like for cooking methods!

Ready? Let’s cook!

Mmm, long time no see, marshmallow!

When biting into fluffy marshmallow and feeling the sweet all over in my mouth, I feel nostalgic too! Well, maybe doing a bonfire outside and eating s’more could be good…?(Some steps before turning into extrovert :D)

  3. I haven’t tried toasted marshmellow on Sandwich bread. I’ve used fluff. So I’m not against trying this. Thanks for the recipe 😁

Hi there! Thank you for visiting my blog. I haven’t tried fluff yet but seen them in my neighbor. Is it just like marshmallow? If so I’d love to try it😊💕 All marshmallow I had were gone after cooking this and sneaking them in the middle of night for a little party!🤣

      1. Have you made rice krispie treats before? It’s like melted Marshmellows without the melted butter or rice cereal. I make peanut butter and fluff sandwiches for the boys. My husband likes Nutella with fluff.
