Rabbit Salad

Happy World Animal Day!

Did you know, today 10/4 is the day to enjoy your life with our fluffy/silky friends: Animals!

Unfortunately I can’t have a pet because of the apartment’s no-pet policy, so let’s celebrate today by putting rabbit on my plate!

rabbit salad

If I scare you me saying “rabbit on my plate,” surprise! My adorable rabbit is made with a ripe tomato! I grew up in a culture where people don’t eat rabbit, so I “rabbit on my plate” is almost impossible.

I used my usual vegetables for salad: lettuce, cucumber, carrot, corn, and dressing was my favorite, carrot dressing!

For those who want to let your kid eat tomato, try making it rabbit shaped by using vegetables/fruits. Your kid might eat, might fail. Who knows the result before you even try it!?

Oh, are you asking me how it goes with my husband? The rabbit was transferred to my plate, as usual!:)

Hi Kitty😊 I sometimes wonder how rabbits taste like though🤔 Sometimes people say it’s similar to chicken but I only dream about it…since we’re on vegetarian diet, my rabbit meat is as juicy as ripe tomato🤣🍅💕🍅✨

They’re very delicious. I’d say. It depends if it’s domestic or wild, how you cook it and so on. Wild rabbits taste more gamey (borderline metallic) – I don’t care for that. Domestic are much better, not like chicken, but there’s much more taste and the meat is more “dense” than chicken. Your rabbit is no doubt very tasty – I’d eat that in a heartbeat 😉

Oh really!? I thought wild one taste better since (especially)fish or some wild caught animals are considered better and usually they cost much more than domestic one😮 That’s very interesting, thank you for letting me know! If I find a restaurant where they serve a rabbit dish, we’d have a cheat day🤣
