Product Review: Maple Espresso Tea from Trader Joe’s

Happy National Espresso Day! Who’s an espresso lover here?  Get some cups of espresso and celebrate today!

Well, well, well…although I started liking coffee recently, making espresso is hard in my kitchen because I don’t have an espresso machine. I used to, when I lived in LA, but when my dinner buddy and I moved up North, we decided to give it away to my neighbor to reduce the amount of our belongings. Now I miss it…I don’t know why I didn’t fight to keep that(well it took me more than 5 years to realize that though!)

Missing my old espresso machine, one day I went to pick up my groceries at Trader Joe’s and found these yummy tea bags! Maple Espresso Tea? I mean…why don’t I get it for my tea time?

My dinner buddy loves tea. Whenever there is a new tea flavor released, he always insists on trying once. I knew these 18 out of 20 bags of tea would be drunk up by him, and that happened…he really loved it! I think it hit the market last year and disappeared for a few months, but I’m glad I’m seeing them again.

Here is a little info of the products, so if you are waiting for other people’s review here it is!

<Comment>

Pro: Aromatic, flavorful, reasonable compared to other brands.

Con:  If you’re a true espresso lover, this might be too weak?

Speaking about espresso, I always feel a little pity for those espresso drinkers. As espresso has a very rich and bitter flavor, I know the mini size of the cup is good enough, but sometimes greedy me appears and worth the quantity more than its quality.

I’d happily drink espresso with a regular size of coffee(venti please,) and get a caffeine attack with a big grin on my face:)))

Happy Espresso Day, cheers everyone!

    These sound interesting. I didn’t know people were combining tea with coffee!

    I once had the idea to combine herbal tea with coffee. I had these herbal tea bags. Basically they are bags of dehydrated fruit. I tried making peach flavored coffee. It was horrible.

    Did you know you can brew espresso in a French press? I often brew it in mine, because it is easier to drag out than my espresso machine.
