Product Review: Spiced Pumpkin Soup from Proper Good

Happy Thirsty Thursday!

Is your room warm with a heater or a fancy version of it, a fireplace? If so, you should be aware that your body might be dehydrated, so now is the time to have a glass of drink or a bowl of comforting food, soup!

Thanks to Proper Good, an innovative soup brand, I received another flavor of soup. Coincidentally it’s Thirsty Thursday so I’d like to talk about how it was.

I actually received it around halloween season, but since there was a shipping issue I couldn’t find the best day to talk about it on my blog. I checked their website and even though it’s a limited batch, it’s still available with a new package design. If you’re interested, I have a 10% off link below so try it!

As I told you before in my previous post, their shipping package design is so cute with blue, fun themed graphics! Especially since it was originally a seasonal flavor to enjoy the Halloween season, the soup package was also adorable.

I was supposed to receive a spoon too but didn’t receive it because of a supplier issue, so I hope I can have them next time!

So the important things to talk about in my post…the taste! Check the ingredients list above. If you’re a chef who likes to cook your curry from scratch, I bet you notice it easily…yes, they use a lot of spice for curry. When I slurp the first spoonful of soup, I noticed it’s very similar to curry, but without any heat. That means if you want to make it spicy you can add different spices based on your preference. The base is already here so you just need to sprinkle chillies and heat up your favorite type of grain to enjoy curry. Or if you have a kid, it’s kid friendly because the taste is mild.

It’s suitable for anyone busy with college or work, recently-in-patient who came back home. Their soup is easy to store(you don’t have to store it in a fridge!) long until expiration date, easy to reheat, healthy and have some room to reseason it. Also I keep saying it but the package is adorable so they are perfect for gift ideas!

Pro:

Plant based, dairy free, gluten free, easy to reheat, easy to store, etc

Con:

A little too bland flavor?
