Cheese Tofu Hamburg Marinara Sauce

Happy National Cheese Lover’s Day! Did you know you, cheese lover, today is the day to enjoy creamy yummy cheeeeese!

This question is totally out of blue, but how often do you check the camera roll in your phone?

I’m running this blog so I guess I’d say pretty much everyday, but sometimes a single picture can make me surprised.

I made this Cheese Tofu Hamburg Marinara Sauce a while back, and now it made me wonder if I really made this huge patti. Well I have 3 sizes of plate with the exact same design, but by comparing knife and fork size, it takes me to the answer of I used the biggest one, about 10 ½ inches, and the patti size is like 7 inches…I mean, really?

Anyways, it’s the perfect vegetarian main dish, so let me share the recipe for now.

Ready to check it? Let’s cook!

It was our lunch using leftover tofu hamburg from the previous night. Of course it has cheese on it so my dinner buddy and I loved it with tangy yummy marinara sauce flavor.

Later on, I asked him if he remembered it and he confirmed that I was using the middle sized plate, so the patti was like a hand size.

Thank you for my old pic, I enjoyed searching about Amnesia and took several self checks in a whole day. Now it’s your turn to check your camera rolls in your phone and find some pictures that will surprise you!

Cheers to cheese! I’m relieved finding out the mystery of my pic, so for celebration of this food holiday and me without Amnesia, I’ll open up a bottle of wine tonight and munching cheese!

Thank you Livia for visiting and commenting❤️ Tofu is a good alternatives for meat patties so tofu hamburger or hamburg are also regular items on my dining table🤗

Just a little clarification here. Hamburger and Hamburg are a little different. Hamburg here is just a steak patti made out of protein of your choice (typically beef but I chose tofu to stay plant based diet.) This is super popular among children and of course, adults who prefer fluffy juicy meat over chewy juicy steak.

Interestingly we don’t usually eat hamburger for our dinner(we consider it as lunch or snack) but hamburg often appears as a main dish to our dinner(or lunch)😋 If you see Hamburg for lunch, they’re typically made tiny to fit in lunch box😁

So you mean Hamburg is without the bread, right? Or did I get you wrong? 🤔

In Switzerland, we call the meat patty Hamburger, too. Also when it is served without a bun.
I called yours Hamburger because when we prepare Hamburger in Switzerland, we season the meat a lot, like you do and add breadcrumbs or even bread which was soaked in milk and an egg. That’s why I automatically called your Hamburg Hamburger too, out of habit, sorry. 😉
