What do you think about rice?
Well, I bet many people don’t pay close attention to them. They are one of the main dishes in Japanese culture and a side dish in other cultures like the American. In most cases, they appear plain next to meat or veggies on a plate. Eat whatever you get as the main dish frequently, and sometimes eat rice to wash down the rich flavor. Now, I’m feeling a little pity on them because they are a must-have in our food but not being under the spotlight on most occasions, so let’s dress up rice and turn it into a yummy side dish!
Lime Parsley Rice
- 1.5 cup rice
- 1.5 cup water
- ¼ lime for juice
- 1 hand chopped parsley
- Salt to taste
- Cook rice
- Immediately after rice is cooked, splash lime juice, salt, and parsley and mix well.
- They are great with Mexican dishes, Peruvian dishes, or Indian dishes!
Mmm, my ready-to-eat-curry dinner became extra yummy to have such fancy-looking rice! Tangy and refreshing herb flavor of rice goes great with rich flavored food, so let’s feel great on a dining table together:)
