Did you know, today (9/25) is the National Cooking Day to enjoy the process of food making and say “yummy!”
It’s Friday and you’ve already gotten out of work place, so it’s good idea to make your dinner in your kitchen and enjoy Friday night planning weekend. After a long week, you might lack some energy to concentrate on what you are doing, so here is a quick and easy recipes to feel refresh and of course yummy!
As the day officially marked Autumn, but some place still keeps summer weather, so let’s create salad on your own and enjoy it in-between season!
<Today’s Recipe>
Zesty Cucumber Corn Salad
<Ingredients>
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2/3 corn on the cob – steamed and removed from the cob
- 1/2 medium carrot – finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon onion – finely chopped
- 3~5 jalapeno pickles – finely chopped
- 1/2 lime for juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Some salt
- Some parsley for garnish
<Directions>
Toss all ingredients together and transfer to a plate!
Zesty lime dressing wash out rich and thick soup but leave refreshing flavor!
Mmm, refreshing salad, crunchy baguette, hot creamy tomato soup…well, my meal consisted of in-between season food from summer and autumn:P
