So today is Memorial Day in the US, is everyone ready for BBQ!?
Don’t eat only meat but eat something refreshing to wash all down:D This is why everyone make some coleslaw on the day of BBQ:D
I sometimes glance at red cabbage wondering if the taste is different with green one. But every time I see them, they are so huge so I gave up taking them home. Luckily, the time has come. I found small one and the price was also good being on sale, so the first thing I cook with them was coleslaw! Loved how it turned out beautiful, so I’d like to share the recipe today.
This one is quite simple with a creamy mayo version, so get the BBQ feast ready now!
<Today’s Recipe>
Colorful Creamy Coleslaw
<Ingredients>
- ¼ green cabbage – shred with slicer
- ¼ red cabbage – shred with slicer
- ½ medium carrot – shred
- ¼ onion – sliced with slicer
- 3 tablespoon corn
- 2 tablespoon mayo
- ¼ lime for juice
- Some black pepper
- Some parsley
<Directions>
Toss them all in a mixing bowl and enjoy!
<Cooking Tips>
Tossing them in a sealable container is so handy. You can bring it to potluck party or just store them in a fridge without making them dry;)
Question: why do you have sunny-side up?
Answer: That’s my appetizer before BBQ feast:)
Stay tuned, everyone:D
